The emergeny pacemaker surgery saved our cat Misu’s life, please help us with some of the expenses of his surgery and his aftercare with your kind donation:

Our very sweet and loving cat Misu became unusually lethargic and his body temp was cold. We took him to our local vet where he was diagnosed with 3rd degree AV block (which is rare in cats). This makes his heart beat dangerously slow and his heart has to work extra hard to circulate blood through his body and vital organs including his brain.
After initial exams and tests from vets in our area, we drove an hour from Brooklyn to Paramus, NJ where he was admitted to Oradell Animal Hospital and examined by a vet cardiologist and underwent emergency surgery for a pacemaker (also very rare in cats). It was one of the hardest decisions we have had to make and without the surgery, Misu would have passed away.
Misu’s heart is now battery-assisted—his pacemaker is working as it should, and he is recovering. He is finally eating again, moving around carefully and slowly, and we hope he will be fully healed soon.
We are very thankful to Dr. Shih and the staff at Oradell Animal Hospital. They were the only place in the NYC area who had the specialists, surgeon, and pacemaker in stock to perform the emergency surgery immediately. Dr. Shih and the rest of the staff at Oradell have been amazingly thorough with Misu’s care.
We are truly grateful for everyone who has already donated and we are also grateful for the extra time we get to cherish Misu’s life.

Thank you to everyone from all my heart who has donated money to us to help save our cat. Without it there is a good chance he would not have made it past Sunday. He is currently doing better. He is healing from the surgery and is in a 24hr veterinarian hospital in NJ. The last four days have felt more like a week and all our focus has been dedicated to keeping him going. This procedure he got done is not common and also expensive but we were able to do it with your help. My heart is breaking. Praying for my lil homie. Our cat Misu is sick. I want to try to put together a benefit show to raise money for our cat. with an exclusive gold stamp commemorating the event.
